The Main [OOC] Rules

• Respect. Respect other people, it's not that hard. Respect includes conversations about religion--don't insult someone religiously, do not insult anyone in any sort of way, politics included. Respect also includes not posting any pictures that could offend or posting any links that could be considered offensive. Arguments are not tolerated though debates are fine as long as no one gets into a fight. If a fight does occur or someone is not respecting you in whatever way, contact an admin. Respect also goes for respecting the staff members: do not beg to be promoted or be on staff, chances are it will not happen. f
  
  
• Literacy. We all know (or should know) how to spell and type properly. Please do so most of the time; chat-speak is not encouraged on this site and we request that you only use chat-speak in the c-box, minimal usage. There is a 150 word minimum on this site. 150 words. Not that hard. These rules are already at 216 words.
  
  
• Advertising. Spamming is a no. If you wish to affiliate or advertise with the site go through the usual process that everyone else does. No advertising in the c-box especially, that is one of my biggest pet-peeves. l
  
  
• Activeness. If you do not post anything within the first two weeks you join, we will go ahead and delete your account. If you do not post on the vacation board and are gone for more than two weeks or so, we'll contact you through email. If you do not post on the vacations board while there is a member activity check and have not gotten hold of any staff member or admin, your account will most likely be deleted. By joining this site, you are saying you will do your best to be active although I completely realize we all do have a life outside of a forum.

The In Character Rules

• Literacy. Again, in role-plays there is to be absolutely no chat-speak whatsoever. Spelling and grammar should be moreover correct along with punctuation. Proboards does provide a spellcheck and I recommend that you use it. There is also a word posting minimum at 150 words. Not so hard. y
  
  
• Characters. Characters cannot be perfect. They are not invincible, and do not control another person's character. Separate accounts are to be used for each new character and we encourage that if you make a female first, you make a male next. Before you can role-play with any specific character you must have him or her accepted first! l
  
  
• Rating. This board will probably have some language in it and some violent scenes and whatnot. I ask that everything is kept at a PG-13 level to the highest. However, if you do decide to take something to the next level, please continue the thread in the mature section of the board. PM one of the administrators for the password.
  
  
• Rules. I reserve the right to add more rules or take some away where I see fit. If any are added or taken away, you all will be notified through the messages.
  

The Mystery Rules

• Clues. The clues will be shown to all members of the forum through an account called "The Killer." He or she will leave notes, small pieces of evidence, even some codes that members will be encouraged to figure out. Nobody knows who the killer is. Nobody will tell you who the killer is, either. The killer lurks on this forum as one of the actual characters you roleplay with. They most likely will not be a staff member, so don't ask. e
  
  
• Who it is. If you do figure out who the killer is, or think you have figured it out, please PM Cayton Arzenic with the title "i know who did it!". You must have a minimum of FIVE clues to show a staff member before you tell who the killer is. Make sure that the evidence that you have found backs up your idea. We will let you know if you are right or wrong. If I catch anybody telling other members who the killer is once they have figured it out, they will suffer an automatic ban. NO EXCEPTIONS. af
  
  
• The password. Once you have read all of the rules, make sure you take each bolded letter at the end of the rule and put them together. This is the password to get into the character application.
